The Notre Dame Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) program is a rewarding challenge that instills respect, self-discipline, and builds leadership traits along with the Navy's core values: Honor, Courage, and Commitment.  This program is offered to 9th though 12th graders who are looking for enrichment and a head start for a successful life.  Cadets have the option of joining different teams including but not limited to: various Drill Teams, Academic Team, Air Rifle Team, Cyber Patriot Team, Orienteering Team and Physical Training (PT) Team.  Our unit has been steadily growing over the years and has earned the title of 2017 and 2018 Distinguished Unit with Academics Honors. Additionally, Notre Dame NJROTC competes at the national level in several events. Part of of the reason for our achievement comes from cadet's participating in community events, such as: parades, graduation ceremonies, Color Guards and clean-up and beautification projects.  NJROTC is a rewarding program that prepares you for a higher position in life.

Congratulations to Notre Dame NJROTC Cadets Emily Kupiec, Isabella Scholl, Vincent DeStefano, and Madeline Peyton (left to right) for completing  the Area 4 Leadership Academy and Sail Training program at Naval Station Newport.
